How Sculptra treatment is performed

Sculptra injections are performed in-office using topical or injected anesthetic. Three injection sessions spaced over three to four months is a common regime.

Sculptra is injected into the deep dermis layer of your skin in a cross-hatch pattern. After the injections, your dermatologist will massage the area to evenly distribute the Sculptra. Recovery and results

There’s no downtime after Sculptra injections, but you may have some temporary bruising, redness, swelling, or mild discomfort. You’ll see immediate skin volumizing due to the water base in Sculptra, but this will go away after a few days as your body absorbs the water. The real results occur after about one to two months as your skin grows new, long-lasting collagen. Results typically last about two years.
