Get Recommendations from Your Doctor
If you have had any type of cosmetic enhancement in the past, you might wish to contact that provider to inquire if they perform JUVEDERM ® treatments, or can recommend a good provider. If you're choosing a provider that you're not familiar with, make sure that you check to verify that they have a medical license that permits them to do the treatment. While this will vary by state, in most places a medical doctor, nurse practitioner, physician assistant or registered nurse can perform injections of dermal fillers.
Make a Consultation Appointment
When you find a JUVEDERM ® provider that you would like to consult with, make an appointment to discuss the treatment with them. This is the time to discuss your expectations and what you would like to achieve with your treatment. Therefore, an exact price estimate may not be possible prior to treatment, because each patient may absorb and process the JUVEDERM ® differently. Generally, the provider should be able to give you an estimate number of syringes of JUVEDERM ® you will need, for example 1 to 2 syringes of product.
